The Garmin Communicator plug-in is required to complete the registration of your Garmin GPS unit via this portal. If you have successfully installed the plug-in from this location and do not see your device in the list in the GPS Unit block below, make sure that you have sufficient rights to run ActiveX controls or make sure that you have selected the option to run the Garmin Communicator plug-in, from the yellow permissions bar below you address bar as depicted in the image below.
Garmap offers registered Garmap owners free Road Safety Data and Points of Interest information as a community service to promote responsible and safe driving. We compile this data from contributions sent to us by our User Community, and while we check the reasonableness of the data, Garmap does not guarantee the accuracy of the information, neither do we embed this data in our mapsets.
You will need the POI Loader Software in order to load the Road Safety Data.
